Iran Launches Over 100 Drones to Retaliate Against Israel; Israel Claims All Drones Intercepted Before Reaching Its Border

In retaliation against Israel, Iran launched more than 100 drones. According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), their fighter jets intercepted and destroyed the drones mid-air. So far, not a single drone has reached Israeli territory, and the situation remains completely under control.

Israel's Morning Attack: 200 Fighter Jets Target Iranian Military and Nuclear Sites

Earlier this morning, Israel launched a massive attack on Iran using 200 fighter jets. According to the New York Times, Israeli forces targeted at least 6 military bases around Tehran. Out of these 6 locations, 4 also housed nuclear facilities.

Death of Iranian IRGC Commander

Iranian state media has confirmed that Hussein Salami, a commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was killed in the Israeli attack.

According to Al Jazeera, two senior Iranian nuclear scientists, Mohammad Mehdi Taheranchi and Fereydoun Abbasi, were also killed in the strikes.

Israel has further claimed that Iran’s Army Chief Mohammad Bagheri, along with several other senior military officers and nuclear scientists, were also killed in the attack.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Vows Revenge

Meanwhile, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei stated that Iran's military will not let Israel go unpunished for these actions.

India Appeals for Peace, Offers Assistance

India has expressed deep concern over the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement saying it is closely monitoring the situation.

India has urged both nations to avoid any steps that may escalate tensions further. It has called for resolving the crisis through dialogue and diplomacy. India has also stated that it is ready to offer any assistance necessary to help de-escalate the situation.



IDF: Not a Single Drone Reached Israeli Territory

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated that Iran launched at least 100 drones in an attack on Israel. However, Israeli fighter jets intercepted and destroyed them outside Israeli borders. So far, not a single drone has managed to reach Israeli territory. The situation remains completely under control.



Home Front Command Issues Update

Meanwhile, Israel’s Home Front Command has issued an update stating that there is no longer a need for citizens to stay near bomb shelters. However, restrictions on public gatherings still remain in place.



Israel Moves All Hospitals to Underground Facilities

In response to Iran’s retaliatory attack, Israel has moved all its hospitals to underground facilities. Non-emergency services have been suspended. The Israeli Ministry of Health has issued an advisory asking citizens to visit hospitals only in serious emergencies and to remain at home otherwise.
